The bolt is not long enough to fit into the compression plug. This review is from: XLAB Aero Computer Mount (Black, 21-Grams) (Sports) I'm an amateur triathlete, and there are no places to mount a bike computer unless you want to tie something up on your aerobars. However, then you can't put a water bottle in your aerobars! This mounting bracket attaches to the steerer column (where you connect the stem), which is ingenious. Nobody else uses this spot on the bike for anything! I'm super happy with this product and its solution to my problem - attaching a computer to my bike while keeping my aerobars free. This review is from: XLAB Aero Computer Mount (Black, 21-Grams) (Sports) This is a great idea, but it falls a little short in the end. Maybe there should be two sizes, but it was a lot smaller than I expected and my polar watchband doesnt really fit through. Would be a lot better if it was just a 1/4 inch wider, which really would not change the drag that it would create at all based up its front profile.
