Easy to use. Flip the cap and unscrew the hose to extend. It's also very easy to switch between Schrader (default) and Presta. My only wish would be for a way to lock it in its compressed (closed) form, but that's pretty minor and I don't know if any other pumps offer that. This is my first mini pump.I added the photo to show that this is the new (2010) model. I almost didn't order for fear of getting the old model.
