Easily pumps tires to 120 Lb and beyond. After years of service, simple to service with a cylinder washer and a small tube of sil-glyde grease. After using this pump, the others feel like toys. Item Pictured/Described is not the one you will receive, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: SKS Rennkompressor Floor Pump (Sports) I ordered this pump specifically for the EVA head (allowing it to be used for both Presta and Schrader). Unfortunately, I received an older model pump that had the Schrader only head. I returned the pump and explained the issue to Amazon's customer service. They stated they would send the correct pump. Again, I was sent another of the older model pumps without the EVA head. Very dissatisfied with the experience. I communicated yet again with Amazon's customer service to receive a refund and let them know that their description of the pump was incorrect. I was told the description would be changed to reflect that the EVA head is not included. The description has never been changed. After reading recommendations, including one on the Sheldon Brown site, this looked like a good option.Solid metal construction means this thing is going to last for a while. With just 8-10 pumps I can get my tires up in the 100psi range. I haven't used it on Schrader valves, but on prestas it works great! Well, as long as the stems are long enough, because it actually forms a seal around the stem, rather than the threaded part of the Presta valve. Hasn't been an issue for me, because I have about 3/4" of stem sticking through my rims, which is enough. An awesome pump, solid German engineering at work, I believe. |
