This thing practically weighs nothing, mounts securely, and works well for its small size. The bottom of the pump turns and folds out to become a secure handle for faster pumping. It puts out quite a bit of air for how small it is and the lever keeps a solid bite on the valve while pumping. Since I'm always plowing through mud I was thrilled about the little plug for the head to keep junk from getting inside of it. I was skeptical about the Velcro strap that holds it tight to the frame, but it has held up like a champ.. not to mention its so strong that I battle to detach it while wearing my gloves. I have only used it on Shrader valves, but it can come in handy with Presta valves being that I ride with some endurance roadrunners on occasion... just keep in mind that its only rated up to 90lbs or so. I had to install it vertically and in a weird position on the bike because of how my frame is designed, but it's never budged at all. It's a perfect little emergency pump. 100% pleased with it. |
