I use CO2 for my emergency bike pump and I always carry two of these around with a tiny screw-on airchuck. All of them have worked fine and I am not gentle with the cartridges. At this rate a 12 pack will easily last me 2 years and probably more. I couldn't bring myself to pay ten dollars for only two cartridges so I bought this "value pack." You can't find a better price per cartridge online. It's pretty much as advertised. I haven't had to use one yet but they look pretty standard and the threads look in good shape. They don't ship in the same box picture above so they aren't packaged as neatly as I would like but that's not the end of the world. Cartridges were sent in a standard USPS postal box without any padding. (Not an issue for me but apparently is for some others.) Threads are a little rough and don't screw into my Innovations Air Chuck Elite Inflator as smoothly as a Genuine Innovations cartridge, but it fits nicely and I didn't have any issues seating the cartridge in the inflator or getting it back out.I compared the cartridge weight against the Genuine Innovations cartridge and these only showed to be slightly heavier. So effectively they are identical unless you are planning to carrying many of them. Tested one on my road bike tire and it easily inflated the tire to 125psi in one shot. Great replacement for the more expensive name brand cartridges at a cheaper price! |
